About the Club

History

Formed in 1905, one of its founding members was none other than the famous British Prime Minister and local hero David Lloyd George .The premier regularly played at Criccieth with the local boys, but there were occasions when he mixed business with pleasure, and is known to have played here one afternoon with his colleagues Winston Churchill and Andrew Bonar Law.

Stunning views and superb fairways with a variety of really interesting holes. Greens hugely improved since last visit 3years ago.
Really pleasant staff and nothing too much trouble.
Great food at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

Had been told that Criccieth course was hilly and not to good by numerous people who had played there some years ago. Well, what a great surprise when I did finally decide to play Criccieth Golf Course, is was really quite stunning, not just the views which are the best in N. Wales, even better than Nefyn.
