History

Criccieth Golf Club was founded in 1905 and is situated approximately one mile inland from the town centre. It is a small extremely friendly and somewhat unique club steeped in history. One of its past Presidents was David Lloyd George who established his own law practice in Criccieth.and became Liberal Prime Minister during the First World War.

In fact the club can boast that three twentieth century Prime Ministers played a round of golf together when Lloyd George was joined by Andrew Bonar Law and Winston Churchill.
